White grapes that spend time on skins can add fascinating texture and complexity. From a few days, weeks or months, the longer the time on skins the more orange/amber in colour they can become. This 3 pack is a great way to begin exploring the style. 

Marko Fon's Malvasia, from across the border into Slovenia, is a benchmark for the variety and region. Malvasia is floral and fruity and the few days on skins here give it more detail and complexity on the palate. Abbia Nova's Passerina, from 50 year old vines, has less than a day on skins, enough to give it some grip and texture. From Campania, Bosco de Medici grow the Caprettone grape right next to historic Pompei. With three weeks on skins, this has notes of apricot and candied orange.
